How to Donate Items to the ReStore

Drop Off Donations to the ReStore

We make it easy for you to donate new or gently used items to a ReStore. One way to donate is to drop off your items in person at our ReStore 660 Squire Street. You can drop off your donations between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. from Monday to Saturday at our Donation Drop Off in behind our building.

Donation Pickup

Habitat also offers a free donation pickup service. Our team can pick up your donation from your home or business garage, driveway or moving room and remove the items you wish to donate. To schedule your free donation pickup today, use our convenient online donation pickup scheduling form below

What We Accept

 Our Habitat ReStores accept donations of new and used home furniture and decor, appliances, kitchen and bath fixtures and other renovation items, as well as donations of overstocked, seconds, used, discontinued items and salvageable household and home improvement building materials from manufacturers, stores and contractors. 

$25 Refundable Appliance Testing Fee

When the ReStore receives the donation, the appliance will be tested within 48 hours by our staff.

If the appliance passes the test, customer may request a refund of the $25.00 testing fee.

If appliance is tested and found not to work, the customer may pick up appliance and the refund of the $25.00 testing fee or we can dispose of the appliance at our cost and not refund the $25.00 testing fee. It is the customer’s choice.. Refunds usually take 5-7 business days.
