Our Habitat homes are truly built with love. They are constructed almost entirely by caring volunteers, with the support of dedicated, skilled Habitat for Humanity Thunder Bay build staff.

Whether you are a contractor or have never picked up a hammer in your life, we can use your help all year round.

What to Expect

You will be asked to create an account in our volunteer scheduling system, Better Impact.

You will complete a brief profile by answering a few questions.

You will be guided through a short online orientation, which includes:

• Reviewing our policies
• Watching three short videos
• Completing two training modules

We will conduct a background check.

Once your profile is reviewed and approved, you will be able to log into your Better Impact account and register for your own volunteer shifts based on your availability.
