JOB DESCRIPTION
We are currently seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as a Volunteer Co-ordinator & Office Administrator. This role is integral to our mission of building and restoring homes for families in our community. The successful candidate will be responsible for the co-ordinating volunteer efforts and providing basic office-administration support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recruit, train and co-ordinate volunteers for Build, ReStore and Fundraising projects
- Schedule and supervise volunteer activities at various sites
- Maintain volunteer database and records.
- Assist with office administration tasks including answering phones, responding to emails and filing
- Collaborate with staff and volunteers to ensure smooth operation of projects and events
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be a recent graduate entering workforce or who is making a career change
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management
- Valid Driver’s licence and access to a vehicle is an asset
- Genuine passion for Habitat for Humanity’s mission and values

- Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
- Expected hours: 37.5 per week – Monday to Friday
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
- Work Location: In person at 660 Squier St.
- Expected: Start date: September 15, 2024
